Working in Lake View
Lake View is bounded by Lake Erie on the west and Eighteen Mile Creek on the south, with Lake Shore Road (Route 5) running along the water. The photo shows the Lake Erie shore from Lake Shore Road in the Town of Hamburg.
The Town of Hamburg, which includes Lake View, is a mix of old and new: about half the homes were built before 1972. Houses from the 1950s and 60s were usually wired for 60 or 100 amps, often with two-prong outlets and no ground, so a lot of my work here is panel and service upgrades, grounding and new circuits for things the house was never built to run. The newer houses call for EV chargers, generator hookups and more panel space.

Chuck was super friendly and helpful, and they fixed my issue fast. It was a Friday emergency, and they still fixed it even near closing time.

Showed up same day to replace hardwired beeping smoke alarm. Excellent service.
Can’t say enough good things about CFW electric. I created a problem replacing some smoke detectors and they were able to come out same day and resolve the issue. Very professional and priced fairly. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
